New stuff coming soon!

I know it's been a little longer than I usually like between new posts... I'll have something new up this weekend. We're in the process of buying a house, so my mind has been on other things lately. But I check my stats and I see you guys visiting and waiting patiently for something new, so I'll have something for you in the next few days (^_^)

About This Blog

This is increasingly not a blog about Alphabet City, New York. I used to live in the East Village and work on Avenue B, but I no longer do. Why don't I change the name if I'm writing about Japan and video games and guitars? Because New Yorkers are well-rounded people with varied interests, and mine have gone increasingly off the rails over the years. And I don't feel like changing the name. I do still write about New York City sometimes.
